BB is a nice stout 2018 filly that was handled minimally as a foal. Currently she is being started under saddle. She is easy to catch without treats or a bucket of grain and wants to learn. BB is good for the farrier and loads in the trailer like a champ. She is easy to lead, pony, and tie.

Currently she has 20 rides and will walk, trot and lope circles in or out of the arena, go on rides by herself and with other horses as well as leave the other horses and go out on her own. I’ve taken her on multiple trail rides and she is very level headed and has not spooked yet. BB has been ridden around and exposed to motorcycles, tractors, big equipment (road construction), dogs, cows, goats and other horses.

BB knows how to move off of leg pressure and has a very soft mouth. She is starting to neck rein and is a very fast learner. She has good flexibility with the bridle and wants to please.

I took her to a few barrel races to see how she is with a crowd and commotion and she was level headed and didn’t mind the change of pace. We did one time only at a trot and she didn’t even spook at the barrels even though she had never seen them before.

On trail rides this little filly will rate the horse in front of her and is not up the other horses tail. She stays 6 - 30 feet behind the other horse and will slow down or speed up with the front horse without running them over.

BB is very cowy. I used her on cows for the first time in the mountains and she forgot all about the other horse we were with when she saw the cows and just started working. She is a great horse to be around on the ground and in the saddle. Saddle her up at any time of day and she gives you her all with no complaints whether it’s in the arena or out in the mountains.

She is just fine with taking coats and slickers on and off and tying them behind the saddle as well as trotting and loping around with one loosely flapping on her. Not a lot bothers this little horse.

BB spent the summer of 2019 in the mountains becoming familiar with all sorts of wildlife. From elk to bears to lions she’s had the opportunity to see it all. She’s familiar with creeks, bogs, brush and bridges. I started this fillies half sister (same dam) and she has been a dream so far. Both are fast learners that retain their training even if they sit for a few months. BB is very athletic, she already has that cowy look to her and is quick as a whip.

This filly is out of a mare that has been used on the ranch, in the mountains, calving, brandings, baby-sat kids, parades, carried flags for the 4th of July rodeo in Ennis, and arena work. You can ride her all day in the mountains one day and go do arena work the next. She’s been there done that and throws foals that are steady, have good bone, nice feet, and are even tempered.

This is a nice stout filly that will be
