Charlie is a wonderful pony. He has been driven most of his life and is incredibly simple to pilot in the cart. Super gentle, easy-to-steer, and will give you as much or as little energy as you like. He does flat-walk and stand. He can be hooked to the cart with just one person. We recently broke him to ride, and he has been just as spectacular. Nothing phases this pony. Very seldom he will *look* at something, but he never spooks. Fantastic with children of all sizes/ages. Does not need to be lunged or ridden before the child gets on (if he is being regularly exercised). Mostly voice-command trained (whoa, trot, walk, etc.). He was shown in harness, and most recently, was shown under saddle. An 11-year-old girl piloted him around the arena in a 9 HORSE academy class, and he didn't put a foot wrong. He took care of her! They did everything right and did it in STYLE. He is a fancy little pony that easily goes level with a little show shoe (even with the kids)! He is the perfect mount to prepare your rider for a real show horse, and to really hone your rider's balance, because he has that "show horse trot" but a gentle demeanor. On the ground he is a saint. Very sweet and friendly. Nothing bothers him. Kids can crawl all over him and he could care less. He clips, hauls, bathes and stands for the farrier and the vet perfectly.

Charlie would be perfect for:

- Driving: At shows, or at home. He would be a super competitive roadster pony. He could also compete (less competitively, but would do the job) in pleasure pony driving classes. Adult or youth friendly. If you are looking for a super fun driving horse, Charlie is your guy!

-Riding: At shows or at home. He has successfully been shown saddle seat in the academy division. He could also be shown competitively as a roadster pony under saddle...Again, he could also compete as a pleasure pony, as he has the manners. Very small adult or youth friendly. A blast to ride!

Charlie is currently an asset to our lesson program, but I would love to see him have his "own person."
