This beautiful Champagne Buckskin gelding not only possesses the looks, he has an incredibly intelligent mind, athleticism, and the conformation to shine in the sports. He'll perform canter pirouettes at play during turn outs. Odin has the abilities to make it easily to upper levels. He is out of National Show Horse breeding on his Dam's side. His Friesian Grand Sire is Tinus Pm. Tinus is the most accomplished Friesian stallion in the history of his breed and in dressage. 2000. USDF Nat Cham in 2nd level 2001. Due to his mental maturity, saddle training didn't begin till age 4. Odin possesses a wonderful work ethic. Under saddle now for 10 months he's finding good contact in all gaits. Walk, Trot, and canter are uphill, floaty and soft, with good impulsion. Able to execute walk to canter transitions, pick up each lead successfully every time, beautiful rein backs, and can perform bend-counterbend-renvers-travers at walk, and schooling them at trot. Has begun schooling jumps at 12'-2', grids and courses. Video link taken on his very first course. Travels to places with confidence. Has been ponied on mountain trails, cross ties, ties, high-line's, clips, braids, loads, hauls, bathes, vacuum's, and handles beautifully for riders and handlers, farrier and vet work without fidgeting. It is with heartbreak that we need to find a new and forever rider and owner. Odin's owner is disabled, and unable to ride and compete due to an old spine injury. He is being schooled by talented young riders at Western Washington University's Equestrian Team, who love his personality, temperament, and how easily he has been to train. Odin is a very polite, a willing partner, and has impeccable manners. He is still growing, and filling out in his body. He may reach the 16.1 hands of his Sire and Dam. We are looking forward to finding him an incredible new owner, who will not only enjoy competing, but will also make Odin a part of a new family. His registration will be pending upon his first inspection, and will be doubled registered as Georgian Grande, and American Warmblood Society.
