- Winnie is a 4 year old Spayed mare. She is a BLM mustang from warm springs unit. She is a Red Dun with CHROME and is 15.2hh. We bought her Sept. 2019 to show her at the Reno Snaffle Bit Futurity wild spayed filly futurity last fall. She was on track to compete in that show but the show was cancelled late last spring due to the sponsorship pulling out and canceling the show. Winnie has proven to be so good minded and has become our go to ranch horse. She has a nice turn around, and is getting to get her flying lead changes down, she is smooth and has a nice slow canter and jog, and side passes well. She is good to open/close gates, even cowboy barbwire gates. She will cross any water, bridges and go anywhere in the forest you point her, she’s very sure footed. She rates Cattle well and is good to rope off in the branding pen and outside doctoring big cows. She has a heart to drag big calves to the fire. She has been to club cuttings and did well at them. She’s handy in the sorting pen. She can out walk most horses and can cover a lot of country in a day when were gathering cattle. She’s been to the beach and goes in the ocean. She is broke to pull a cart and sleigh so you can drive or ride her. She can sit for weeks and saddle up and ride off the same as when she’s ridden daily. She greets us at the gate to be caught, she likes people. She stands quietly, is good for the farrier, and loads and hauls well. She’s truly a AWESOME all around horse. We guarantee she’s sound and will have a current health and coggins for her at the sale. This mare is a Sale Authority horse and will have a bill of sale in lieu of a Title.
