By Dirty Callahan - Champion in Halter, Reserve Grand Champion all ages, top 5 & 10 in 2 year old Western Pleasure at CBC. He has points in Lunge Line, Western Pleasure and Discipline Rail and NSBA. “Opal” as she is sweetly known around the barn has such a kind soul. She is bred top and bottom for all-arounder possibilities. She has several infamous and old school names in her lineage (Kay Cee Leaguer, Sonny Dee Bar, Conclusive, Barpasser). She is born to be a natural in the show pen and/or continuing her contributions as a broodmare. Opal was started out in a top tier western pleasure program (Sauder Pleasure Horses), where only top expectations for the show pen were accepted. She spent 8 months under training and was show in halter and longe line, earning a ROM in halter (open and amateur divisions), Reserve World title at IBHA World Show, Reserve Champion in Longe Line at VA Color classic in 2021, tying for reserve champion in halter in 2021, and Champion halter in 2020. Earning over $2,500 (LTE) in her short career. She was shown at All American Quarter Horse Congress, as well, placing top 15. She knows all the things she should for a successful show career and has the beauty and movement to produce top-notch babies. Opal has great ground manners, and has been hauled extensively. Very willing personality, easy to clip (no twitch needed), stands quietly while bathed, loads/unloads, hauls quietly alone or with others. She is UTD on shots/coggins.
