Jewel is truly a nice mare. She stands 16 hands and is 5 years old.
She has been ridden extensively on the trails and travels out with a nice comfortable walk and will also hit a smooth trot or take you for a nice relaxed lope a crossed the field. She has lots of sense to her and will cross any obstacle you encounter. She has been desensitized to all arena toys such as balls, whips, tarps, dragging things and has had other horses roped off her.
Jewel is also a joy to ride in the arena. She picks up both leads, spins, stops and side passes softly and correctly and is also responding nice to leg cues.
Jewel is very easy to get along with. She is gentle and has never had any buck to her at all and we believe most anybody should be able to get along with and enjoy her.
She is good to shoe, load, trailer, catch, and bathe. There really isn't anything bad to say about her.
Jewel is also broke to drive both single and double and has been both driven down the road to town and also used on farm equipment.
She has also been packed.
