Kidd is a well bred, gorgeous, and broke gelding ready to take you to the pay window. His sire is Lil Spoon who is siring some amazing arena horses; cutting, working cattle, speed events, roping, etc. His dam is an old foundation bred mare. She was a wicked barrel and rope horse before being retired sound to raise babies. Kidd has it all and is cowy, quick, and just wants a job. He has worked feedlots and loves to hate a cow. Kidd is working a solid barrel and pole pattern and really starting to add speed. He has been exibitioned and has hauled all over to see the sites. You could also take him to the cutting pen, sorting, working cattle, break away, heel, etc. The sky is truly the limit for this talented young gelding! Kidd is already pretty fancy broke. He lopes off from a standstill, counter arcs, side passes, and has a beautiful smooth roll back. Kidd is not for a beginner because he is quick and craves a job but a handy youth could easily go on with him and win! This is a decision that doesn’t come lightly because he’s my first home bred and raised baby but with a 1 year old I’m selling most of my personal horses. Kidd has been ridden through some rough terrain pushing cows in the Texas Hill Country and will pick his way through anything presented to him without a second thought. He LOVES a job and a challenge but the slow work has been done also. He will trail ride quietly with his head down or ride off bareback with a halter just the same. Kidd has a very fun loving personality. He is easy to catch, is friendly, and loves his nose kissed. He loads, hauls, and stands tied anywhere. He’s good turned out or in a stall and is very tidey with his stall, blanket, etc. He stands 14.3 hands and is getting thicker by the day. He has never been injured, has no scars or blemishes of any kind, and has great bone and feet. Kidd has all the speed and agility you could ever want or need. Feel free to give me a call anytime!
