This 9 year old proven mare is an all around awesome horse. She is kind, sweet, honest, solid, brave and athletic. She rides English, Western, bareback and trail. She loves trail miles and is forward and confident. She is very gentle but not a plug. We have done a lot of obstacle work on her and she might excel at a competitive trail class. She has also had ropes thrown off her.
She has “get up” and “mojo” and likes to work. She is surprisingly agile and quick for being such a big powerful gal. She loves to move and move out. She has impeccable ground manners. She trailers, ties, bathes, is good for the farrier, etc. She is sensitive and very reasonable. She could probably do fine carrying children on a lead line or beginner riders if they were being supervised (and corrected by a trainer) in a lesson program. I think she would get frustrated if a beginner was her only rider as she has so much more to give. But she would probably do great being shared by a family where a competent adult parent rides her and also shares her with more novice family members.
She would also make a fabulous addition to a breeding program. Just check out her impressive bloodlines!
She has had only has two owners her entire life, her breeder and her current owner. We personally know both of them. She has been owned by a equine veterinarian since she was purchased from her breeder and so she has always been a extremely well taken care of. She is UTD on everything and was recently trimmed. She is barefoot and seems perfectly happy barefoot on trail.
