Shadow is a stunning bay roan 5yr old gelding. He is a Kentucky Mountain Saddle horse. He has 5 gaits; walk, flat walk, trot, running walk and canter. We have been training for competitive trail and just trail riding in general. He is very inquisitive and always interested in new obstacles. Crosses big water, mud, tarps even baby pools with plastic bottles. He does all the standard stuff: stands for farrier, clips, bathes, shots, trailers, cross ties etc. On the trail he goes out by himself, will lead or follow in the group. He had his start somewhere in Kentucky but after I purchased him 2 yrs ago he went to Wildflower Horsemanship for some miles and intro to cows. He thinks cows are super fun. All his ground work is based on Warwick Schiller. He is a very sensitive individual and quick to learn. He has been in Halloween and Christmas parades. He has a great personality, loves people and other animals including dogs. He is the bottom of the herd as he is the baby. I feel he needs someone that will use him more. This year he is standing more than riding as I have two horses and can only keep up with one. He is UTD on coggins, vaccines, deworming and teeth.
