"Zeus Von Grace" is a barn favorite! Gorgeous Baroque style, 15 year old, 15.3 gelding that is a pure bred perfect pedigree all around prospect!!! Zeus has amazing movement with active hind legs and powerful impulsion. He is a true beauty with a puppy dog personality in the barn. This fantastic horse will make a lovely performance horse for any discipline, amazing all around horse, or just an overall best friend. Zeus is being offered for sale through no fault of his own- owner is having a major surgery. She understands that he needs attention and exercise. Her recovery will be longer so its only fair to have him find a new person to give him just that.
Zeus has been ridden alone and in a group and is currently ridden in a school program by qualified riders doing the basics. He has been a student FAVORITE! He does well in the arena and has also been trailered out to enjoy a good trail ride. Surprisingly Zeus also has been over fences and will do what you point him at! He is fancy enough to be a competitive mount but loves to relax, walk on a loose rein and cuddle with his owner. We love that he can be a competitive dressage horse if you are asking that of him, but if you ride him casually he is very relaxed and is fine with that too!
Zeus also completed 90 days of professional training to help finish and enhance his abilities. In that training he learned bombproofing, dressage, jumping, and started to learn to ground drive (owner was thinking of teaching him to pull a cart). All of these things he excelled at. He truly IS that Friesian that does it all. He has been ridden in lessons, IEA Practices, in local schooling shows (1st in class) and on property and off-farm trail rides. He also had been ridden Western prior to arriving at our farm.
No vices, sound, and an easy keeper! Low maintenance (front shoes) and moves great with what God gave him! He is a gentleman in the field. Gentle soul in this one, will definitely be someone's forever heart horse.
Zeus' sire is the famous Teade 392 who produced outstanding performance Friesians and our sweet boy was a 2e premie foal. He is well bred and it shows. He is a MUST MEET, ONE OF A KIND horse!
