RIDEABLE HOME ONLY Maisie is a grade palomino mare pulled from a kill-pen in Kansas in the summer of 2021. Stated to be a Haflinger Cross and around four years old, 14.1h, and supposedly ridden a few times but appeared barely halter broke. She is currently and continuously updated on Coggins, vaccinations, float, dewormers, and farrier. The vet estimated her to be closer to five years old, giving her a birth year of 2016; she is also only 13. 2h. She has incredible, nice sturdy hooves and has been barefoot her whole time with me. 5-Panel-Clean, but N/IMM: meaning she has both the normal and mutant alleles of the MYH1 gene, and she has the susceptibility to develop Immune-Mediated Myositis. In the year I have owned her, she has shown no signs of IMM symptoms. However, I encourage interested buyers to research and talk with their vet on N/IMM horses. She is color panel tested and is: ee Aa nCR and negative for nd2/nd2, silver, champagne, and pearl dilution. I have been training Maisie for close to a year and still would classify her as green broke. She is not a kid's horse but has the makings to be one, she still needs a confident rider, and I would say one best suited under the eyes of an experienced trainer. She is halter broke, stands tied on cross-ties and lead-rope. Will load into a trailer and stand for a bath. Maisie was restarted under my training in English and has never offered to kick out, bite or run at. Since riding, she has never offered to buck. More professional videos and pictures to come. All potential buyers are encouraged to do Pre-Purchase Exams with their chosen vet. References of vet, farrier, and trainer are required. All sales will have a Horse Bill of Sale with an agreement of Rights of First Refusal.
