Classy and Flashy! Wise Guy’s Brayden, affectionately known as Piper, is a beautiful 2017 registered Tennessee Walking Horse gelding that is the total package! Piper is stout and stands a big 15.2 hands tall with excellent conformation and a gorgeous glistening coat that shimmers year-round. Piper joined our family over a year ago and has been through our rigorous training program from start to finish. Many hours have been spent to make Piper something truly special. Piper is unique, not only in his color but in his many talents. From experience on the trail, bird hunting, field trial, tricks, liberty, cow work, BRIDLELESS, bareback, beach and so much more, the directions Piper can take you are endless! Piper has been trained correctly, with all the basic training from simple lunging, flexing, picking up his shoulders, yielding his hindquarters, and being super light in the face. Piper is super SOFT with tons of feel while riding or handling on the ground! He will lunge freely in both directions, come to you when called and follow you around at liberty! He can be ridden flawlessly with a simple O-ring snaffle bit, shank bit, halter, neck rope, or nothing, just using your fingertips on the side of his neck. Piper rides easily on a loose rein at a walk, gait, or lope. He responds to leg pressure and hand cues so well that he can be ridden with no bridle or neck rope at all! He will simply respond to your seat, hands, and legs alone. He will abruptly stop when you say woah and place your legs out in front of you, then back up with a gentle motion of your legs without ever touching the reins. You can even ride him BAREBACK AND BRIDLELESS at the same time, without a neck rope. Piper will side pass up to the mounting block, trailer, or any object with the snap of your fingers making getting on and off easy. He will lay down on command from the ground or from the saddle! He neck reins perfectly one-handed, side passes, backs, and lopes both leads on command. Piper has a SMOOTH STYLISH gait and slow lope that is comfortable to ride all day long. He has a smooth slow walk and has an amazingly smooth transition in and out of a lope. Piper is very sure-footed and careful while going through rough terrain or over down timber. He will cross anything and go up or down the roughest of country. Piper is stout and steady enough to ride all day long. He is good with water, bridges, gunfire, dogs, dragging tires, bullwhips, flags, traffic, children, opening/closing gates, and ponying other horses. Piper knows how to put in a hard day’s work and is always up for the task and ready to cover new country. Not only is Piper an outstanding trail horse, but he has also been used to gather cattle, rope steers, and the Hot Heels, plus has been used as a turnback horse for NCHA money-earning Quarter Horses! Piper loves a job and loves to work cattle! He even tries to do a little cutting himself which is so much fun! Piper is quiet in the barn and easy to catch anywhere
