His name is Oops. He was the last thing I needed at the time, but I couldn't resist him, hence the name. Oops is a 3 year old unraced TB gelding who identifies as a quarter horse, but I checked his papers many times and he's a thoroughbred alright. Registered name Speightfulnewyorkr Oops first ride was bareback in a halter. I was bracing to get bucked off , but instead we went on a leisurely walk out on the trails. That's when I really knew he was special. Oops is a pretty cool dude. Because he's only 3 we haven't worked Oops hard , but have given him more life experience then most 3 year olds have. He has been on many trail rides and absolutely loves it, he is also very sure footed which makes him a great horse to cruise down the trail with. Oops has been cross country schooling at Shepherd Ranch with a kid on board. He went over small logs, ditches, in the water, and up and down banks. Oops jumps! And he's cute! Brave and rhythmical to the fences and good with his knees and back. I haven't jumped Oops a ton due to his age, but he's 100% game to go in that direction. Oops has pushed cows! And he kinda likes it. The next adventure plan is taking Oops to the beach. There's nothing really fancy about the way Oops moves. He won't be an upper level dressage horse and he's not going to the Olympics for anything , but Oops is going to make someone a fantastic all around horse. A horse you can trust and bond with and a horse that is the same dude everyday. Oops is still considered green so I am hoping whoever falls in love with Oops has a trainer or is knowledgeable enough to continue to bring him along correctly. I had front feet and hock xrays done recently to have on file. I had the chiropractor do a work up on him as well and he's in great shape. Oops, you know you want him! Available in CALIFORNIA only til Oct! Then he will be moving to Texas if not sold. I dropped his price recently due to our move across the country.
