He likes to please his people and doesn’t want to be wrong. Rex has loads of experience working on a horse ranch and spending countless hours out on the trails! He cruises around willingly and has the most amazingly smooth gaits. He’s easy and comfortable to sit. He has a nice ratable lope on a loose rein and guides easily. He has fancy big stop and is a gorgeous mover. He has a responsive one-handed neck rein but will ride bridle-less just as well. Rex stays very gentle and trained even with substantial time off without being ridden. You can grab him out of the pasture after months and it’s as if he never had a day off. Over the years he’s had riders of all levels ride him on the ranch and on the trails. Rex is always the same and trustworthy to take care of everyone. He’s handled all the scary things in our program like tarps, flags, atv’s, like he’s seen it his whole life! He will boldly cruise around farm machinery, geese, deer and even a llama.
