Though he be but little, he is fierce! (And nice to look at!) "Gallahan" is an imported Hispano-Arabe (Andalusian x Arabian) gelding from Spain and he is an incredibly versatile and intelligent boy. His initial training was in the traditional Domo Vaquera style of riding and includes various abilities such as the passage and piaffe, the Spanish Walk, bowing, rearing, and even lying down on command. He’s admittedly rusty on these moves as his purpose has shifted in the last year from performance to functionality, but in the right hands he could very easily return to this training and excel. He has now also been fully started into single driving and ranch riding and has taken to both like a fish to water, proving he’s eager to please and adaptable. Gallahan loves having a job and he’s best behaved when he has one. He was gelded in 2021 and as such, has some “studdy” behaviors with other horses, but nothing excessive and has since been stalled/penned/trailered next to mares, geldings, and stallions without major issues. Gallahan does NOT respond well to heavy-handed riders/trainers and performs his best when in experienced hands willing to teach him firmly but calmly. Stands for the farrier, clips, ties, loads without issue, and is hobble trained. Extremely easy keeper and fully sound. Gallahan has a lot of life left in him and he would make an intelligent, versatile, and beautiful addition to the right home. 14.3h, up to date on all dental, farrier, and veterinary work. Coggins negative as of 2/16/2023 and will be sold with a current health certificate. Additional pictures and videos are available upon request.
