If you’re looking for a horse of a different color here he is! Deets is a 2019 champagne gold AQHA gelding that is flashy as he is kind. He stands at 14.2hh and is THICK made with plenty of bone. He has been used for every aspect of ranch work from sorting to doctoring and will travel out on long gathers or carefully pick his way through rough country. Deets is happy to ride out alone on your day off or trot out to gather on a Monday morning. Although this is embarrassing to admit- I hobbled him once while we were vaccinating calves and his saddle was so loose that it rolled all the way under his belly. He just stood there quietly until someone noticed him. This certainly speaks to what kind of horse Deets is. He is good minded enough for an anxious rider yet handy enough for someone with experience. He is one you will never have to peddle as he prefers to travel out on the ranch and he will work hard for you all day long and then greet you at the gate to do it again the next day. Kids and beginners have rode him down the trail and in the arena but I won’t consider a horse a true beginner horse until they have many years of experience under their belt. Take him to the arena to rope, out on the trail or keep using him as a ranch horse, this is one you’ll enjoy for years to come!
