Star Light’s Firefly “Lance”
Lance is an amazing 4 year old Friesian Cross that stands 15.3hh. WTC, lunges, loads, bathes, barefoot but has had shoes. He is schooling training level, lateral buttons solid. He lays down on command. He is 100% bombproof on the street or on trails. We have used him for lessons, both on the lunge line and off. He is an excellent teacher! He knows what to do and does it when asked properly. He has also been used as a babysitter for very new riders! We all swear he can read your mind. He has plenty of go when you want it, but walks very tentatively for a beginner or young rider. We used him to search for escaped yearlings all night in an unfamiliar area and pony them back once found. This guy is the guy you turn to when you need complete dependability!
He can be ridden bridleless, bareback, double or with any saddle you choose! He has smooth transitions in dressage and a hard stop western. He really is an all around amazing horse!!
Lance is beautiful, has a funny and engaging personality, and loves his rider. He would be perfect for an amateur, or could be taken up the levels with a professional. He is also perfectly safe with a brand new rider. He is calm, learns quickly, is very eager to please and will perform in any discipline.
Lance loves his person! He is the first to greet you in the pasture. He is a joy on the ground to tack or bathe. He loves to be groomed, stands for the farrier, self loads in the trailer like a gentleman and can stand tied for as long as you need him to…as long as you use a rope halter. He knows how to take a flat halter off. He won’t go far…just come find you if he doesn’t get distracted by food on the way.
Lance is full of potential and looking for a person to call his own. Come pick this boy up and take him anywhere! Dressage, 4H, trails, you name it!
