Qismit, aka "Kizzie" is a sweet tempered, easygoing homebred Lusitano filly. She has beautiful movement with excellent bone, feet and conformation. She loves to work and is brave about new obstacles and training situations. She has been lightly started - less than 10 rides, but is doing fantastically and takes this new training all in stride. Will be tall. She is APSL eligible, but was born with a mild wry nose, making her less likely to be included as a breeding mare with APSL. Other than her crooked nose, she is a beautiful filly! Veterinary surgeons have evaluated her nasal septum and determined that she will not need any corrective surgery - she has no difficulty carrying a bit in her mouth nor any performance issues. Survey x-rays from November 2021 show clean stifles, hocks, feet. UTD on dental care, vaccines, deworming and fecal egg counts. Kizzie trailers, bathes, stands well for farrier and is a true joy to have on the farm. We are excited to see her continue her adult journey with a new partner!
