"Q Rue" is a sensitive and smart homebred Lusitano filly. She is registered both with IALHA and has PSL inscription. She has the typical Baroque conformation of a traditional Lusitano. Q Rue has had extensive groundwork and is lightly started under saddle - less than 10 rides - and is coming along fantastically. We go slow with the youngsters and don't expect too much too soon.
Q Rue has survey x-rays from November 2021 that show clean stifles, hocks and feet. She is UTD on dental care, vaccines, deworming and fecal egg counts, and has a recent negative Coggins. She bathes, trailers, stands tied, and is trimmed every 5-6 weeks by the farrier. Q Rue is an easy keeper and has been raised outside on hilly pastures to run and play. Of course, she is happy to come into a stall and hang out under the fans and eat on hot Florida Summer days, too. Does well in a herd and is not dominant.
