W2 Horses is more proud than ever to offer you, A Boy Named Sue A. Sue checks all the boxes with his exquisite conformation, beautiful dapples, and an extensive list of talents and skills. We have owned Sue for four years, during which he has excelled in our program from start to finish. We could tell from the beginning he was going to be extra special. Sue is among the most intelligent and talented horses we have ever owned and trained. His training abilities and talents exceed any other horse we have ever offered. If you are looking for a smart, fun, skilled, athletic, and gentle gelding with tons of personality, you have found the one! Sue is a solid and finished trail horse with years of experience. He has been ridden all over the country, from the rough terrain of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado and Wyoming to the Southeast. Sue has a fancy way of going with a beautiful headset, fantastic running walk, smooth gait, and slow lope you will love to ride all day! His gait is solid and smooth all the time with any rider. His good ground-covering walk and willingness to go where you send him make him a pleasure to ride. Sue knows how to put in a hard days work, is always up for any task, and loves a job. Sue was started properly with basic groundwork before he ever learned to ride. He knows how to lunge freely or on a line, change directions from your body language, then face and come to you when you whistle. He follows you around slowly and respectfully in any direction, backs when you back, and side passes to you on the ground without ever touching him. Sue has impeccable ground manners and respects your space. We have spent excessive time desensitizing Sue to everything you can think of. In the saddle, Sue has had lots of time flexing, picking up his shoulders, responding to leg pressure, and yielding his hindquarters. He is very soft and supple with lots of feel. Sue is soft enough to be ridden in a simple smooth O-ring snaffle bit. He neck reins softly and easily one-handed, stops with a simple woah with your seat, and backs with the gentle motion of your legs. We have even ridden him bareback and bridleless, only using the pressure of our legs and fingers on his neck. He lopes both leads on cue, responds to leg pressure, side passes, and is super soft. He is so close to being able to do flying lead changes! Sue will go anywhere and through anything you ask. He is sure-footed, patient, and will carefully ease through the roughest of country without hesitation. He takes his time and never gets in a hurry or panics when in a tight spot. Sue can pack all your gear up the mountain and is stout with enough stamina to ride all day in high country. He is good with water, bridges, cattle, flags, bullwhips, kids, opening/closing gates, traffic, wagons, and ponying other horses... CONTINUE READING + MORE VIDEOS -> MyHorseConnection.com
