Sugar Coated Impulse is a 2017 APHA/PtHA Mare sired by The Sugar Daddy and out of A Sudden Impulse Mare. Hazel is approximately 15.3, but has a jog and a long trot that puts her in the ribbons on both sides.
She is currently being shown by an Amateur Walk-Trot rider and WINNING! Her last show she came out high point in her division. Has been shown breed and the judges love her. Came home with her Am W/T ROM at one show! Was recently started over Crossrails and loves it!
Hazel is green but has a great start, and is talented enough for all divisions. She is careful over poles, and had lead change started last year but we have not focused on it. Can jog a hole in the ground, and has been at the top of the HUS ribbons.
Hazel has minimal maintence, but does best being maintained on Regumate and regular bodywork sessions to keep her feeling great. Hazel is not what I would consider for a “timid” rider but has potential down the road. I would recommend her to continue in a program until she is finished!
