Beautiful 2017 red roan mare with great pedigree including the well-known Peptoboonsmal. Reined cow horse start under saddle in May, 2022. She has a great foundation for cow work or as an all-around with a lovely disposition. She is built stout and is an easy keeper! Her temperament is not skittish or hot, and she is responsive to cues under saddle. She is up to date: teeth done in fall 2022, coggins and vaccines done in March, 2023, is currently barefoot (hooves trimmed May 8, 2023). She has had 1 Foal in the past.
Why are we selling this sweet mare? We bought Hickory in late August/early September, 2022 for my advanced beginner daughter, and my daughter and her are not experienced enough together. Hickory is currently being ridden by my intermediate-advanced daughter and they get along great (my older daughter loves her), but she has other horses she needs to ride (and doesn't need another, lol).
