They just don’t get any cooler than this ‘BIG’ guy. Looking for a unicorn? Your search is over! Meet ‘Big On Details,’ affectionately known as Big. His name is very suiting, and we anticipate him to finish at 17.2-17.3h based on his pedigree and a current string test. He is already 16h with substantial bone, nice big hooves, and balanced all the way around. The past 30 days have been spent being saddled, and the remainder of the year he will be ground driven, learning how to long line in his steps to being your next World & Congress top contender.

Big is by the proven hunter/jumper and hunter under saddle sire ‘The Next Detail,’ and out of the exceptional mare, Too Sleepy To Scoot, (TSTZ x Scootin Spider Sue). Big’s full sister ‘Well Detailed’ is an NSBA RWC in the BCF as well as placing 3rd in both the Non Pro and Limited divisions. Recently, Big’s half brother (same dam) won the High Point English horse in Camden, SC winning the L1 HSE, and placing 1,1,2 in the HUS and he has had a winning year in Low Country!

Big has tremendous potential as not just an outstanding AQHA fence horse, but definitely will do the USEF successfully with his talent, size and scope. We have raised several lovely foals from this mare, and he is quite possibly the best. We adore him, and are serious about finding the perfect match to assist him on his way to the winners circle. He is a great investment for the 2-6 year old NSBA futurities.

Big is 5 panel negative, and has been conservatively managed and handled in efforts to preserve his long term show career. We decided to forgo all longe line futurities in light of the fact that his full sister ‘Well Detailed’ was the 2019 BCF Reserve Champion in the Non-Pro Hunter Longe Line. He is a very special horse, and we are excited about his future.

As a Mother of 3, with a big farm to help manage, I can’t go down the road as often as this boy deserves! But, we do raise some great foals here at Strom Ranch, and we promise to be your biggest promoters and cheerleaders! We cannot say enough good things about him and are looking for the perfect owner to take this young prospect to the top.
