Saint is a 8 year old Friesian cross gelding standing 16.0HH that is an absolute puppy dog and gentleman to ride! Saint is the definition of tall, dark, and handsome. Not only does he have looks, conformation and a good mind, he is also very well balanced, smooth and fun to ride. English or western, arena or trails, Saint will do it all. I have personally ridden Saint just about everywhere; from the trails to the obstacle course and even riding through town! He will go through, over, and under any type of obstacle, terrain, or water crossing. He loves to go for a swim and walk along the beach! He is 100% traffic, trail, and beginner friendly!
Saint is a blast to ride in the arena, as his lope feels like you’re sitting on a cloud! He has beautiful movement which makes me believe he is a great candidate for western or regular dressage! He will extend out or collect into a sitting trot! He is a horse that a timid rider can easily build their confidence on as he loves to take care of his rider! He will direct or neck rein and is very tolerant of someone who balances on his face. He is always up for a days of work and will be the first to greet you in the pasture!
Saint has absolutely no vices, requires no maintenance, and is an easy keeper! He does not need to be ridden daily, or even weekly. He has yet to be fresh or offer to buck with us. He stands hard tied all day long, loads and unloads, and is a dream for the farrier and vet. He is currently barefoot but has worn shoes before! He is UTD on all dental, vaccines, coggins, and trimming! He does have a small, old scar on his left hind ankle that does not effect him at all, as well as a patch on his right hip, pictures of both are available! He is fine being stalled or turned out in an any type of herd. He is such an easy and fun boy to love, and I can’t wait to see who ends up with their dream horse, because he truly is one!
