As I was going through the skills, I realized that I can’t even put half of the things down that this phenomenal young gelding has done. Kidd was my first baby to breed and raise myself. I was given a free breeding to his sire because his dam is such a stand up all around mare. She’s the kind that you’d think is a gelding if you didn’t know any better. She would outwork any horse you’d put her against in any situation with ease and grace. Kidd is a lot like her! He has been started right from day one and when I say he has done it all, he truly has! Kidd started out working feed lots and doing all aspects of ranch work. He has been ridden down busy highways, in parades, done drill team, and helped to start rowdy colts. Kidd has been hauled lightly on barrels and is well started on poles as well. He spent about 8 months with a roping trainer and is ready to haul in break away and heeling. He has great cow sense and LOVES to team sort!! This horse is TRULY all heart!! He is hard NOT to catch and is always up for a new adventure. Kidd has even been ridden English and is a beautiful confident jumper. One thing I have always wanted to try with him is western dressage. Kidd is such a fancy mover and has all the buttons. He side passes, collects up with ease, spins, counter arcs, flying lead changes, work gates or the rope, etc. I just really could go on and on about this amazing horse! This decision doesn’t come lightly but he is finished and ready to be someone’s heart horse and pride and joy. He is always first on the trailer because he is such a pleasure in all situations but that also means that the youngsters that actually need to be rode are put on the back burner. Fun little bonus; Kidd is going to be in a MOVIE in the near future. Multiple beginner and very unconfident riders used him and he was a perfect gentleman. If we are going on a trail ride, Kidd is almost always the one that gets to ride double with my toddler. He is sooo careful of little ones both under saddle and on the ground. Kidd rides almost as well bareback and/or bridleless as he does all tacked up. He just really loves to please and show off his training and talent wether it be going down the trail, turning a barrel, chasing a cow, or taking a jump. I do NOT have to sell him and the perfect home is incredibly important!! If you are interested, please call me to discuss further. Located in Harper, Texas but I have a phenomenal hauler.
